In 1993 Alex Gorbonos took over Cotham Shoe Repairs in Kew. A true craftman, Alex brings almost two decades of experience to his customers, covering all aspects of footwear repair and maintenance. People come from all over Melbourne to make the most of Alex's expertise.

Keen to expand the business, Alex decided to offer his customers a brand of shoe in keeping with his idea of the best in footwear: a stylish, orthotic-friendly comfort shoe, well manufactured, made of high quality natural materials, light, flexible, durable, affordable. He was delighted to discover Naot shoes. Alex began as an authorized supplier of NAOT shoes in August 2005.

NAOT OF KEW is the only store Australia-wide which carries the NAOT brand exclusively. Our customers benefit from having access to the widest Naot range and choice of colours available, both in-store and on-line.

In 2010, remaining in Kew, Alex moved the store to stylishly renovated premises. Here customers are able to view the most extensive range of NAOT footwear for women and men including shoes, sandals, and boots. They are also able to purchase other Naot products: Replacement Insoles, natural Bamboo Socks and the luxurious hypo-allergenic Foot Cream.

In keeping with offering customers the best in shoe care and maintenance products, Naot of Kew also carries an excellent selection of both the Collonil shoe care range and the Pedag range of "over the counter" orthotic foot supports and inserts. Collonil is a recognized German product of 100 years experience. Pedag hand crafted goods are also manufactured in Germany. Both companies supply high end products which are the result of expertise and knowledge.

As Alex continues with the shoe repair side of the business, we are able to provide on-the-spot adjustments to orthotics to ensure they fit perfectly into your new shoes. Alex is also expert at maintaining Naot shoes with
re-soling, stitching etc.
